Dr. Charles Chaney, MD, MSE

Dr. Chaney is fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine. He is the Medical Director of the national CRPS Ketamine Center. He obtained his BS and MS in engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and his MD from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern Univeristy.

Dr. Chaney completed residency at UCLA, and advanced pain medicine training at the prestigious UCSD Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship considered among the top 5 programs nationally. He has given numerous lectures and presentations on complex pain disorders, focusing on CRPS. He trained under Dr. Norman Harden, one of the nation’s premier pain doctors who has helped provide national guidelines on fibromyalgia diagnostic criteria and ketamine treatment for CRPS. He also trained under Dr. Mark Wallace, an international pain expert on nerve pain disorders and Director of the UCSD Pain Medicine Fellowship in La Jolla, California.

Dr. Chaney is a leading expert in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), having helped hundreds of patients and pioneered treatment approaches for CRPS pain. He is recognized for his advanced treatment of neuropathic pain, having presented at the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
